Mateo Simunovic is a Bosnian-American film editor and director, making documentaries. Born in Lansing, Michigan, he spent the first few years of his life in Konjic, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Simunovic got his start in film by creating YouTube videos in 2015, centering around the game "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U" before transitioning into other games and variety content. In 2026, Simunovic made his directorial debut with the short documentary "You Just Had To Be There", tying the world of traditional film making with his roots in gaming content creation. Today, most of his work is behind the scenes in editing, as well as motion graphics.
