Ed Price is a British visual effects on-set supervisor. Based in Bolton, England, he began his career in television production and camera departments before moving into visual effects work on large-scale studio features. He studied Religion and Theology at the University of Manchester, graduating with a BA. Price's early credits included being a runner, production assistant, and camera trainee on Great British Railway Journeys (2010), Ladies of London (2014), In the Flesh (2013), Atlantis (2013), and Bear Grylls: Extreme Survival Caught on Camera (2014). During this period, he worked in production logistics, camera assistance, and on-set support. He transitioned into visual effects production in the mid-2010s, beginning with work as a visual effects production assistant and assistant data wrangler on Spectre (2015), where he served as assistant data wrangler, and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015), where he worked as a visual effects production assistant for Lucasfilm. He subsequently became involved in several large-scale visual effects productions within the Star Wars franchise, serving as assistant data wrangler on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), data wrangler on Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017) and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), and lead data wrangler on Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker (2019). Price expanded his feature film credits with visual effects data wrangling and lead wrangling roles on Life (2017), Aladdin (2019), The One and Only Ivan (2020), No Time to Die (2021), The King's Man (2021), and Jurassic World Dominion (2022). In television, Price worked as lead data wrangler on Andor Season 1 (2022). He later moved into on-set visual effects supervision for The Crown Season 6 (2022). Price served as visual effects on-set supervisor on F1: The Movie (2025). For his work on production, he was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards, the 2026 Satellite Awards, and the 2026 North Dakota Film Society Awards, alongside Ryan Tudhope, Nikeah Forde, Robert Harrington, Nicolas Chevallier, Eric Leven, and Keith Dawson. Price is also a visual effects lead wrangler on Pressure (2026) and is a visual effects supervisor on VisionQuest (2026) alongside visual effects supervisor John Haley.
