Matei Donciu is a Romanian young actor who made his feature film debut as the lead in Atlasul Universului, directed by Paul Negoescu. The film premiered in the Generation Kplus competition at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it received a Special Mention from the international jury. In his first screen role, Matei portrays Filip, a sensitive and curious child navigating friendship, imagination and emotional growth. His performance has been noted for its natural presence and emotional authenticity.
