Ottawa, Ontario, Canada:
Hana Nour-Eldin is a Canadian student filmmaker based in Toronto and of Egyptian descent. Her work blends surrealism, deadpan comedy, and emotional nuance, often exploring themes of memory, dissociation, and human connection. Selected as a member of the TIFF Next Wave Committee and a student at Etobicoke School of the Arts, Hana draws inspiration from everyday absurdities and uses film as a way to translate the internal into the visual.
