Biography:

Omar Hasan oglu Eldarov (Azerbaijani: Ömər Həsən oğlu Eldarov) (born 21 December 1927) is an Azerbaijani sculptor. He has been awarded the titles of Honoured Art Worker of Azerbaijan (1962), People's Artist of Azerbaijan (1982), full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (2001), full member of the Russian Academy of Arts (1988), and President of Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts (2001).
