Cohen Hulcoop is an award-winning Canadian filmmaker from Ontario working across directing, writing, editing, and acting. He is entirely self-taught and develops independent films. His debut short film, Patient 45 (2025), has screened at various domestic and international film festivals and marked his introduction as a filmmaker. In the project, he worked across multiple roles including directing, writing, editing, and performance. Hulcoop’s upcoming short film Therion (2026) expands his developing body of independent work and continues his multi-role approach to filmmaking. He continues to develop new independent film projects across multiple disciplines of production.
