John Sippel

Biography:

John Sippel is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Detroit Michigan. With almost a decade of working as a director and editor and a lifetime immersed in the arts, today John’s work focuses on nonfiction storytelling. This work spans the mediums of filmmaking, photography, installation and literature. Through a lens that is both poetic and grounded, his work reveals the layered, often-overlooked complexities of people and places, inviting viewers into intimate human moments that move beyond stereotype and spectacle.
