Beautiful Thing (1996)
Jamie Gangel mantiene una tensa relación con su madre, Sandra, debido a su absentismo escolar, Leah se refugia en la música tras ser expulsada del instituto y Ste convive con la violencia doméstica a diario. Las vidas de estos tres jóvenes se entrelazan cuando Ste, harto de su familia, se larga de casa. Durante la ausencia de su madre, que pasa más tiempo en el trabajo, o junto a su nuevo novio Tony, que en casa, Jamie invita a Ste a pasar la noche con él. Es entonces cuando la atracción entre ambos se desata, lo que les llevará a lidiar con sus sentimientos y el despertar de su homosexualidad.
