En La Cañada, el asentamiento irregular más grande de Europa, no hay luz desde hace más de un año. A la luz del fuego, Toni, un chico de trece años, descubre que su mejor amigo Nasser se marcha para siempre. Entre leyendas sobre un posible futuro, Toni captura los últimos momentos con su amigo e intenta encontrar la forma de quedarse conectado a él.
