Bananas (1971)
Cuando Fielding Mellish, un torpe y tímido probador de productos es abandonado por su novia, la sensual y atractiva Nancy, decide cogerse unas vacaciones y se dirige a la pequeña república de San Marcos. Pero lo único que consigue es verse envuelto en un sinfín de divertidísimos líos burocráticos en el pequeño país que tienen como telón de fondo la guerrilla subversiva. Todo se complica aún más cuando los rebeldes guerrilleros toman el poder y su líder se vuelve completamente loco. Sus propios compañeros toman una drástica decisión: cambiar al líder por Mellish, creyendo que él podrá salvar el país. Pero la suerte nunca parece estar del lado de Mellish y es secuestrado por el F.B.I. que le somete a juicio y le acusa de subversivo.
