Morir todavía (1991)
Mike Church es un detective de Los Angeles especializado en la búsqueda de personas desaparecidas. Pero el último trabajo que le han encargado es muy distinto: debe ayudar a una hermosa mujer a recuperar la memoria perdida, a descubrir quién es. La única pista es una pesadilla recurrente en la que alguien, en los años cuarenta, la apuñala con unas tijeras. El sueño es de un realismo tal que ha convertido su vida en un infierno. Mike decide poner un anuncio en un periódico para encontrar a alguien que conozca a la chica y pueda ayudarle. Se presenta Franklyn Madson, anticuario e hipnotizador, que propone adentrarse en sus recuerdos mediante la hipnosis. Así es como empieza a recordar, pero no su propia vida, sino la de Margaret Strauss, famosa pianista de los años 40 que murió asesinada.
