Oppenheimer: el dilema de la bomba atómica (2023)
El 16 de julio de 1945 se detona con éxito la primera bomba atómica. Este momento cambió para siempre el devenir de la historia y el de su inventor, J. Robert Oppenheimer. Tras años de investigación, Oppenheimer conseguía, por fin, su objetivo, pero en ese momento de aparente triunfo se dio cuenta de la gravedad de lo que había hecho. Este documental se adentra en la vida del polémico inventor de la bomba atómica, en su genialidad y en el conflicto moral que le supuso su invención. Científicos, historiadores, analistas militares o descendientes de Oppenheimer nos presentan al científico y las consecuencias que tuvo para él la invención de la bomba atómica, un logro que otorgaba a la humanidad el poder de destruirse a sí misma. Más adelante, intentaría enmendar su error advirtiendo por los peligros y luchando por frenar la tendencia del gobierno a la proliferación nuclear, sin éxito.
