Un padre de cuidado (2001)
Joe cree que es un don nadie. Videoespecialista de gran talento en una compañía farmacéutica de Minneapolis, le han estado dando largas durante mucho tiempo respecto a un ascenso que le habían prometido. Por otro lado, todavía está enamorado de su ex- mujer Callie. Cuando Mark McKinney, el tirano de la oficina, le arrebata su querida plaza de aparcamiento, conseguida no sin esfuerzo, decide poner en marcha un plan para vengarse. El primer paso: recibir clases de artes marciales con Chuck Scarett, una estrella de las películas de acción de serie B pasada de moda que, a la postre, da a Joe mucho más que meras lecciones de karate. El siguiente: una nueva imagen que incluye un nuevo peinado y un nuevo vestuario. El plan de Joe cosecha inesperados dividendos: Cuando se extiende la noticia de su revancha, Joe consigue un súbito ascenso dentro de la compañía.
