Los cinco de Central Park (2012)
Central Park, 20 de abril de 1989, una joven corredora se debate entre la vida y la muerte. Cinco adolescentes hispanos y negros son detenidos. Tras un violento interrogatorio, confiesan haber cometido la violación de esta joven blanca y son condenados a penas que oscilan entre los 6 y los 13 años de cárcel. La prensa los bautiza como los Central Park Five. Sin embargo, el caso está repleto de sombras. Ningún testigo ocular confirma la tesis de la policía y las pruebas de ADN exculpan a los cinco adolescentes. Por el contrario, la prensa no actúa a favor de los Central Park Five y presenta al grupo como delincuentes. Hasta el día en que Matías Reyes, violador reincidente, confiesa el crimen. La condena es anulada y los adolescentes, convertidos en hombres, son liberados.
