Aunque hay 500.000 futbolistas profesionales en todo el mundo, solo siete han salido del armario. Vivimos en un siglo XXI liberal y tolerante, con figuras públicas abiertamente homosexuales, pero el fútbol sigue siendo un espacio cerrado. The Last Taboo cuenta la historia de los pocos jugadores que han tenido el coraje de declarar su homosexualidad, explorando los conflictos internos y externos a los que se enfrentan: la elección entre la negación o la liberación. La película ofrece perspectivas de jugadores de diversas ligas, abordando la homofobia como un fenómeno global y cuestionando si realmente somos tan tolerantes como creemos. (FIRE!!)
