Taberna salvaje (1984)
Un Thunderbird del 55 recorre la legendaria "Ruta 66" conducido por Beckman Hallsgond, un joven graduado, torpe e ingenuo hijo de un ricachón. Todo transcurre con la tranquilidad prevista hasta que surgen complicaciones cuando unos matones, en un modelo rojo del 57, disparan a su coche y provocan una avería en el radiador. Beckman tiene la suerte de contar con la ayuda de un avispado autoestopista: Johnny Harte, que se convertirá en su compañero de viaje y de aventuras.
