Monster's Ball (2001)
La familia Grotowski está formada por Hank, su hijo Sonny y su padre Buck. Forma una generación de hombre cuyos trabajo en la prisión federal del estado de Georgia consiste en ejecutar a los condenados a muerte. El patriarca de la familia, ya retirado, ha transmitido a su hijo el odio por la raza negra, pero su nieto Sonny parece apartarse de la tradición familiar.
