El clan del oso cavernario (1986)
Ayla, una niña cromagnon de 5 años, queda aislada de su tribu por culpa de un terremoto. Pese a ser de una estirpe más desarrollada, es acogida por un grupo de Neandertales, que basan sus razonamientos y comportamientos en las experiencias de sus antepasados. Ayla, el siguiente eslabón evolutivo, introduce el adelanto y la renovación y se convierte pronto en una niña fuerte e independiente con un desarrollado instinto de supervivencia. Sus cualidades innatas provocan conmoción y rechazo en la sociedad con la que convive, y es expulsada por el jefe del clan hacía un futuro incierto.
