Lorna Doone (1990)
En 1673, Exmoor está bajo el poder de una familia de nobles terratenientes, los Doone. Pero, tras la muerte de Cromwell, caen en desgracia, sus tierras son expropiadas y se les declara proscritos. Sin embargo, los Doone se sienten lo bastante fuertes como para desafiar al rey. La primera víctima es un campesino, cuyo hijo, John, decidido a vengar la muerte de su padre, consigue entrar al castillo de los Doone. Una vez allí, conoce a Lorna, la nieta de Lord Doone. Años después, tras servir en el ejército, John regresa a Exmoor. El conflicto con los Doone continúa y también Lorna sigue allí.
