Adaptación moderna de la famosa novela de Emily Brontë. Heath (Mike Vogel) es un joven sin hogar, con un gran talento para la música, que lleva la pasión y la confusión a una familia que reside en una solitaria mansión llamada Las Cumbres. Cate (Erika Christensen), la hija del dueño, se enamora perdidamente de él; pero su hermano Hendrix (Johnny Whitworth) no puede soportar la presencia del intruso que se ha unido a su familia.
