Fat City, ciudad dorada (1972)
En Stockton, ciudad de California, un veterano púgil en decadencia (Stacy Keach), que sobrevive trabajando como jornalero agrícola, conoce a un muchacho que quiere ser boxeador (Jeff Bridges) y se lo recomienda a su antiguo mánager, otro perdedor. "Fat City" es una expresión de la jerga boxística que quiere decir "paraíso en la tierra".
