En la zona de servicio para camiones conocida como "Lunar Truckstop", algunas de estas gigantescas máquinas empiezan a moverse sin que nadie las conduzca. El pánico se desata cuando lo camiones empiezan a perseguir y a arrollar a las personas del lugar. Unos cuantos supervivientes han quedado encerrados en el interior del restaurante, donde entre todos, buscan un modo de poder escapar con vida de la indescriptible locura que les acecha desde fuera. Hay quien asegura que los camiones podrían haber sido activados a causa de los experimentos tecnológicos que se llevan a cabo en un complejo militar cercano, el Área 51.
