En esta ocasión, los Toa tendrán que hacer frente a nuevos villanos. Descubre todos los secretos del mundo de Bionicle, en esta fantástica película de animación digital. Antes de construir su nuevo hogar en la isla de Mata Hui, seis valientes Toa tienen como última misión salvar a la que en otra época fue la gloriosa ciudad de Metro Nui, ahora sumida en las sombras e invadida por las Visorak, un siniestro grupo de arañas. Transformados en Toas Hordita, unas misteriosas criaturas de aspecto bestial, los Toa llevan a cabo la complicada misión de rescatar a los Matoran de las fuerzas oscuras, que los tenían presos.
