Historia de un crimen (1993)
Eddie Chan es un policía con un terrible sentimiento de culpa tras un reciente tiroteo. Chan recibe la misión de rescatar a un empresario secuestrado, Huang Yifei; un rastro que conduce a Chan y a su compañero Hung desde Hong Kong a Taipéi y de vuelta a Hong Kong. A medida que la investigación avanza, Chan sospecha de sus propios compañeros, incluso de Hung. Al escuchar una conversación entre Hung y los secuestradores, Chan descubre el lugar de su escondite. Para evitar que Chan haga pública su colaboración con los criminales, Hung decide quitarlo de en medio, desatándose una batalla en las calles a través de feroces tiroteos y explosiones. ¿Será capaz Chan de llevar a Hung ante la justicia? ¿Será capaz de arrebatar a Huang de las manos de sus secuestradores?
