Japón, mediados del siglo XVI. El general Toyotomi Hideyoshi está consolidando el gobierno del pais. Oda Nobunaga arrasa el pueblo de Iga (conocido como “la tierra escondida”), temeroso de las conspiraciones y el poder que puedan tener los ninjas que viven allí. Sin embargo hay supervivientes…y pasarán 10 años antes de que comiencen su venganza.
