El gran farol (1999)
Nick Leeson, un empleado del Banco Barings (McGregor), revolucionó en 1995 el sistema financiero del sureste asiático. Fue enviado a Singapur a trabajar en el mercado de futuros del Barings Bank, un reputado banco con dos siglos de antigüedad. Aunque era considerado el mejor de los empleados, robaba al banco enormes cantidades de dinero para cubrir las pérdidas de sus operaciones financieras, pero llegó un momento en que el volumen de los desfalcos era exorbitante.
