Tiro de gracia (2002)
En la liga de Fútbol Americano de Montana existe una regla que permite terminar el juego cuando un equipo va por detrás a más de 45 puntos: la regla del "Tiro de Gracia". Esa regla no existe en la realidad de las gélidas llanuras de Montana, donde el alcohol y las peleas se necesitan para sobrevivir. El protagonista, Roy empieza a desmoronarse cuando su padre se suicida. El chico es reclutado por Gideon Ferguson, un individuo solitario y hurañó, para formar parte de su equipo de Fútbol Americano. Una gran relación surge entre entrenador y pupilo, pero Roy empieza a sospechar, igual que otras personas del pueblo, si Gideon no está interesado en algo más que la simple amistad.
