La condesa Marya Zaleska, miembro de la elite londinense, no es más que la hija del famoso aristócrata transilvano; lo cual nos es revelado a mitad del (breve) metraje, aunque sus afición al esoterismo y la brujería -y, por supuesto, el título- nos hacían sospechar ya dicha filiación.
