Belleza prohibida (2004)
Siglo XVII. Edward 'Ned' Kynaston es la "actriz" más famosa de Inglaterra. Como la ley prohíbe a las mujeres actuar, Ned, gracias a su belleza y a su talento, ha interpretado los principales papeles femeninos. Pero el Rey Carlos II, harto de la situación. decide animar el ambiente permitiendo a las mujeres pisar los escenarios y prohibiendo a los hombres interpretar papeles femeninos. La persona más perjudicada por estas innovaciones es Ned, que de la noche a la mañana pierde su privilegiada posición.
