Afterglow (1997)
En Montreal, el arribista Jeffrey Byron (Jonny Lee Miller) está a punto de cerrar otro lucrativo negocio. Aunque es joven, posee un agudo olfato comercial. Sus cuantiosas ganancias las dedica a satisfacer su máxima pasión: él mismo. A su esposa Marianne (Lara Flynn Boyle) le disgusta su excesiva entrega al trabajo y se siente frustrada por no poder satisfacer su deseo de ser madre. Al otro lado de la ciudad, vive Lucky "arreglalotodo" Mann (Nick Nolte), un contratista de obras y reparaciones, que está casado con Phyllis (Julie Christie), una ex-actriz de películas de serie B. Cuando Marianne contrata a Lucky para que renueve su apartamento, la vida de los cuatro dará un giro inesperado.
