Durante más de doscientos años una maldición parece haber caído sobre la aristocrática familia de los Baskerville. Cuando Sir Charles es hallado muerto en extrañas circunstancias, el legendario Sherlock Holmes y su compañero Watson comienzan a investigar y llegan a la conclusión de que la próxima víctima será Sir Henry, el único miembro vivo de la familia y, por tanto, el heredero universal de la fortuna de los Baskerville.
