24 Hour Party People (2002)
En 1976, Tony Wilson descubre que su verdadera vocación es la música. Funda un sello discográfico y se convierte en cazatalentos y promotor musical. Nace así la exitosa discográfica Factory Records de Manchester, de donde proceden grupos como Joy Division, New Order y Happy Mondays. Tony Wilson y sus amigos, tras asistir a un concierto de Sex Pistols, a finales de los años 70, elaboran un plan que cambia por completo el mundo de la música pop y convierte a Manchester en una ciudad famosa. Tras lanzar Factory Records, compran un local y ponen su propia discoteca (Hacienda), que se convierte en una de las más conocidas del mundo.
