Abyss (1989)

Un equipo de científicos de una instalación petrolífera es contratado por la marina norteamericana para llevar a cabo la operación de rescate de un submarino nuclear atrapado, en extrañas circunstancias, en el fondo del mar, justamente al borde de una grieta abisal de varios kilómetros de profundidad. Un grupo de las fuerzas especiales del ejército acompañará a los científicos. Muy pronto estos últimos empiezan a sospechar que lo que está sucediendo en las profundidades abisales es algo tan extraño que, en principio, escapa a su comprensión.
