Sylvia (2003)
La poetisa norteamericana Sylvia Plath (Paltrow) era una apasionada e inteligente mujer que se casó con el laureado poeta inglés Edward Hughes. Tanto él como ella fueron destacados escritores del siglo XX. En 1956, Sylvia, que estudia en Inglaterra con una beca, conoce a Ted. La mutua atracción es tanto física como intelectual. Cuando Sylvia acaba sus estudios y le ofrecen una plaza como profesora en Estados Unidos, la pareja se traslada a vivir allí.
