Las hermanas Van Houtens son sádicas y lunáticas. Secuestran, violan, torturan y matan a sus víctimas, todos hombres. Cuando el coche de un joven director de cine se avería en el pueblo, éste comienza a hacer preguntas y pronto descubre la conexión entre las hermanas y las desapariciones.
