Alma en la sombra (1941)
Dos amigos, Ward y Philip, se enamoran de la bella Stella. Finalmente, ella se casa con Philip y al principio todo marcha bien, pero, poco a poco, su vida conyugal se convierte en un infierno, pues Philip empieza a dar muestras de tener un carácter difícil e inestable y se manifiesta como un celoso patológico. Lo que ocurre es que Philip ha escapado de un sanatorio mental y utiliza una identidad falsa. (FILMAFFINITY)
