Los creyentes (1987)
Tras la muerte de su mujer electrocutada en un accidente, el psiquiatra de la policía Cal Jamison (Martin Sheen) se muda a Nueva York. Allí se ve envuelto en una demoníaca pesadilla cuando encuentra al detective Tom López junto al cuerpo de un niño, sacrificado en una ceremonia ritual realizada por hispanos. Aunque López se convierte en el principal sospechoso de una serie de asesinatos similares, Cal no está convencido de su culpabilidad, y se esfuerza por encontrar la verdad. Pero su investigación lo llevará a involucrarse a fondo en el ámbito de lo sobrenatural. (FILMAFFINITY)
