Biopic de la leyenda del boxeo Vinny Pazienza. Basada en la increíble historia real de uno de los campeones de boxeo más carismáticos de la historia, Vinny Pazienza (Miles Teller) era nativo de Rhode Island y fue más conocido como 'The Pazmanian Devil'. Cuando un accidente casi mortal le deja con el cuello roto y con el pronóstico de los médicos de que posiblemente no pueda volver a andar, Vinny se alía con el entrenador Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart) para protagonizar un triunfante regreso al ring.
