Sissy Hankshaw nació con unos enormes pulgares en sus manos que le han ayudado a hacer autoestop a lo largo del país desde su más tierna infancia. Se convierte en modelo de agencia, y su agente de Nueva York "la Condesa" le consigue un trabajo para rodar un spot en un rancho donde entabla amistad con Bonanza Jellybean.
