El pirata (1948)
Serafín, un cómico ambulante, llega con su compañia a una isla del Caribe y conoce a la bella Manuela, de la que queda prendado. Pero Manuela ya está prometida con Pedro Vargas, el hombre más rico del lugar. Serafín, que tiene conocimientos de hipnosis, consigue que ella entre en trance y así se entera de que Manuela, en realidad, está enamorada del Pirata Macoco, por su fama de aventurero y hombre intrépido. Serafín decide entonces hacerse pasar por el pirata para enamorarla.
