El tercer milagro (1999)
Frank Shore, un sacerdote conocido como el "asesino de milagros", es llamado urgentemente por su obispo para que actúe como abogado del diablo: una estatua de mármol de un convento de Chicago llora lágrimas de sangre. El párroco local propone la beatificación de Helen O'Regan, una santa mujer de pasado desconocido, que vivió sus últimos años en el convento y a quien la comunidad cree responsable de las milagrosas lágrimas. El padre Frank, que atraviesa una crisis de fe, pide ayuda a Roxanne, la hija de Helen, lo que complica más la situación, porque empieza a sentirse atraído por ella y eso hace que sus creencias se tambaleen aún más.
