Cosas que perdimos en el fuego (2007)
Tras perder a su marido (David Duchovny) en un violento incidente, Audrey Burke (Halle Berry), madre de dos hijos, recurre a Jerry Sunborne (Benicio del Toro), un exheroinómano que fue el mejor amigo de su marido en la infancia. Audrey le ofrece cobijo con la esperanza de que pueda ayudarla a ella y a sus dos hijos a superar tan terrible pérdida. Jerry libra una batalla diaria para alejarse de las drogas, pero su inesperado papel como padre quizá pueda constituir un estímulo determinante en su rehabilitación.
