Curso del 65 (1985)
Nueva York, 1965. En el colegio católico San Basilio los alumnos reciben una férrea disciplina, que incluso llega a los castigos físicos. Cinco amigos con actitudes diferentes ante la vida coinciden en su espíritu juvenil, en su curiosidad sobre el amor, en su anodina vida familiar y en el rechazo de algunos métodos académicos impuestos por sus profesores, demasiado tradicionales y vetustos. Uno de los alumnos, Michael, sobrevive como puede a este difícil ambiente en el que su abuela le ha involucrado. Las cosas y las relaciones entre los alumnos y el profesorado se irán poniendo cada vez más tensas y difíciles, hasta que la violencia explote en todos los sentidos.
