Asesinato de calidad (1991)
Por petición de un antiguo amigo en tiempos de guerra, el espía George Smiley accede a investigar el asesinato de Stella Rode, la mujer de un profesor en un exclusivo colegio masculino. Pronto descubre que a Stella le encantaba descubrir los secretos de los demás para cotillear y hacer chantaje. Introduciéndose en la tortuosa sociedad del colegio, Smiley descubre sociedades secretas, abusos sexuales y a un misterioso muchacho llamado Perkins que puede ser al mismo tiempo sospechoso, testigo y víctima.
