El capitán King (1953)
Alan King es un capitán mestizo del Ejército británico que lleva suministros a la guarnición de Peshawar, en la India. Por el camino, su unidad cae en una emboscada que le ha tendido Karram Khan, un traidor y antiguo amigo de infancia de King. El oficial al mando de Peshawar es el general Maitland, que vive con su hija Susan. Los oficiales británicos desconfían del capitán King porque es mestizo, pero el general Maitlande sólo tiene en cuenta su impecable historial militar, si bien le desagrada la relación que mantiene con Susan.
