Oliver Twist (1997)
La madre del pequeño Oliver Twist muere cuando éste nace. De inmediato, el niño es recogido en un hospicio a cargo del señor Bumble. Cuando pasado un tiempo se atreve a pedir más comida, el explotador se deshace de él, vendiéndole al dueño de una funeraria. La vida es muy dura para el niño en su nuevo hogar, por lo que decide escapar a Londres. Adaptación de la obra de Dickens.
