Wonderland (Sueños rotos) (2003)
Basada en una historia real, la película explora los brutales asesinatos múltiples acaecidos en la parte alta de la Avenida Wonderland en el Laurel Canyon de Los Ángeles durante el verano de 1981. En un principio, el caso parecía tener relación únicamente con camellos y gente de la noche, pero pronto evolucionaría hacia todo un clásico de la crónica negra de L.A. cuando se descubrió la conexión del famoso rey del porno John C. "Johnny Wad" Holmes. Para cuando arranca nuestra historia, Holmes había caído ya desde su glorioso pedestal de la estrella más grande de la industria del porno duro a un estado de ruina financiera y toxicológica. Holmes adora a Dawn, su amante adolescente, mientras sigue casado con su esposa Sharon, formando los tres un triángulo amoroso de lo menos convencional. En medio de este descenso en picado, Holmes traba amistad con los camellos locales Ron y Susan Launius, junto con su socio David Lind, que operan desde una casa de Wonderland famosa por sus fiestas.
