Dos viajeros del tiempo que vienen del año 2586 aparecen en la vida de Scott, un profesor de historia que investiga una vieja fotografía. Uno de los viajeros en el tiempo está decidido a cambiar el curso de la historia, mientras que el otro trata de detenerlo. La fascinación de Scott por el Viejo Oeste es muy útil cuando todos vuelven a 1886.
