Basada en una historia real. Danny Green es un gángster de origen irlandés que protagonizó en los años 70 los episodios más turbios de la ciudad de Cleveland. Su tendencia a meterse en toda clase de problemas lo convierte en una figura conflictiva e incómoda dentro del mundo de la mafia. Son muchos los que querrían eliminarlo, pero no les resultará nada fácil.
