"Remake" en color del film "Nobleza obliga", que Leo McCarey rodó con Charles Laughton quince años antes. Fue el segundo de los cuatro films que Bob Hope interpretó junto a Lucille Ball, y el tercero de los seis en los que fue dirigido por George Marshall (sin contar sus cameos en dos películas más).
